NACHATROOM.NET - Online NA Chat and Meetings, Narcotics Anonymous Chatroom
We are a group of Narcotics Anonymous with online meetings where members can chat 24/7 for support and fellowship.NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using. We suggest that you keep an open mind and give yourself a break. Our program is a set of principles written so simply that we can follow them in our daily lives. The most important thing about them is that they work
"The message is that an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new way to live.... That is all we have to give." (Basic Text, 5th Ed., p. 65)
You can enter chat immediately by clicking on the "connect" button above. If you do not type a nickname into the box, you will be given an anonymous handle such as "NAGuest123."
Common names like "Jenny" and "Chris" may already be registered, if you get changed to GuestXXXXX, try Jenny1 or Sara_L.
Please stick around and greet visitors! This may be their first exposure to an NA group.
The room is open for chat and fellowship 23 hours a day. We have a one-hour NA meeting in the chatroom at 8:00PM EST. The newcomer seeking help is the most important person in the room, while we welcome off-topic discussion (we after all just a chatroom and among friends) please keep the focus on recovery from drugs and alcohol when someone is here seeking help.
Any two or three addicts gathered together may call themselves an N.A. group, provided that, as a group, they have no other affiliation. This website is not endorsed by any Narcotics Anonymous entity other than NACHATROOM.NET. Our intention in posting this information on the Web is to fufill our Primary Purpose to carry the message to the addict who still suffers.
Meeting format: Topic, Open Discussion. Readings used are the NA 12 Steps & 12 Traditions. We ask that meeting participation be limited ONLY to those who identify themselves as addicts, have a past history of substance use, or simply think they may have a problem.
